No audition is necessary—Everyone can play a role at The Santa Fe Opera—Just join the Guilds.
While the Opera is moving in new directions, so are the Guilds— hatching new plans, forging new partnerships, bringing new energy and ideas into the Opera's endeavors. Guild members make things happen for the Opera. Since 1957, the Guilds year-round volunteer services and financial support have launched and expanded some of the Opera's most successful activities.
Guild members sponsor "Opera Insider Days" and the backstage tour program. Guilds offer a variety of programs, both social and educational; hold special fundraising events for the Opera's Education and Community Programs; work behind the scenes on Youth Nights at the Opera, the Spring Opera Tour throughout the state, and the unique Pueblo Opera Program; and host the preview buffet dinners, plus much, much more.
