Concerts & Performances
The Santa Fe Opera's Community Concerts are free and held in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and neighboring communities during the winter, spring and summer. Each performance features talented Santa Fe Opera artists performing a wide-ranging repertory of arias, songs of the season, musical theater selections, and sacred music. All concerts are free, no reservations are necessary and open seating begins 30 minutes before the concert.
Each year The Santa Fe Opera takes its act on the road! This spring, our artists will tour cities in Colorado and New Mexico, offering free performances for school children along with free public concerts featuring a new opera, UnShakeable, in commemoration of the Shakespeare 400 and composed by Joe Illick with libretto by Andrea Fellows Walters. UnShakeable follows the story of Meridian, Jacquelyn Stucker soprano, and Wyatt, Samuel Schultz baritone, on a star-crossed journey guided by their wishing stars. Music Director: Kristin Ditlow.
