Seasonal Box Office Customer Service Rep

Representatives provide excellent service to patrons of the Opera by assisting them with ticket purchases and program questions. Therefore, it is important to become familiar with the season's repertoire, the layout of the theater, and the general rules of the house.

There are several positions with weekly hours fluctuating between 20 and 40, dependent on the needs of the box office. Start dates are from mid-April to early June.

Requirements

Computer skills are required with basic windows-based program knowledge a must. Additionally, good telephone and speaking skills, courtesy, and a service attitude are essential. The work is detailed and requires a high degree of accuracy. Previous box office & customer service experience is helpful. Demands flexibility regarding scheduling during the performance season.  Formal attire is required on performance evenings.
