Concerts & Performances

Spring Tour

Community Concerts & PerformancesEach year The Santa Fe Opera takes its act on the road! This spring our singers will nine tour cities in New Mexico and Texas, offering over sixteen performances for school children along with free public concerts. An average of 12,000 audience members enjoy the Spring Opera Tour each year.

This spring's performances include a delightful work, titled Avastar which explored the relationship of two young singers who enter an online singing competition. Former Santa Fe Opera apprentices, soprano Sara Heaton, and tenor Joshua Dennis, are the featured singers in this year's concerts.
